'The Big Bang Theory' Season 10 Episode 11 Spoilers: Amy Gets Sheldon In The Mood For Love-Making?
"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 is taking a break this week. Instead of airing on December 8, its new episode will air on December 15.
In place of the popular sitcom, CBS will show the second episode of "The Military Miniaturization" rerun. According to reports, the move is to provide viewers who missed the episode the opportunity to catch up.
When "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 returns next week, viewers will catch a glimpse of Bernadette and Howard's first child. In the episode, Howard will finally prove that he is capable of being the best father to his child despite the fact that he grew up without a father. It was previously revealed in the series that his dad, Sam, abandoned him when he was a child.
Titled "The Birthday Synchronicity," the upcoming episode will also follow Amy as she tries to get her beau in the mood for sex. In one of the earlier episodes of the series, the couple agreed to have sex at least once a year, especially on Amy's birthday. Unfortunately, it looks like the two won't be able to make love on Amy's birthday this year since everyone is pretty busy with the arrival of the new baby.
In a recent interview, "The Big Bang Theory" executive producer Steve Molaro explained why Amy and Sheldon agreed to make love annually.
"As far as this being some sort of sellout or giant shift in the character, I think it's lines like that that allow us to have such a momentous occasion, but it still can feel very much like Sheldon and Amy--Sheldon saying that we did this thing, but we're only going to do it once a year is an example of us holding the character intact, even when something this monumental happens," he said.
