'The Last Ship' Season 4 Cast News: Jonathan Howard Goes Aboard In Upcoming Season

As TNT gears up for the return of "The Last Ship," fans of the series patiently wait for news and updates about the upcoming season.

Recent updates about "The Last Ship" season 4 state that new stars will be added to its cast, and the latest of all these additions is "Guilt" and "Episodes" star Jonathan Howard. According to reports, the actor is set to go aboard in season 4 to play a major role.  He will reportedly portray a man named James Fletcher, who has an important claim in all the things that are happening around the world.

In the upcoming season, James Fletcher has an exceptional stand both as an MI-6 agent and a commander in the British Royal Navy. Given the description for his character, fans speculate that he could be the man to help the post-apocalyptic universe survive.

According to reports, the character will work together with the crew of USS Nathan James in order to lock up and secure the stolen stuff that could facilitate the survival of the humanity in "The Last Ship" season 4. Fletcher will also team up with Sasha Cooper, who previously decided to stay in the vessel despite Captain Tom Chandler's retreat.

Aside from Jonathan Howard, another actor to grace the next installment of the series is Peter Well. He is set to portray the role of Dr. Paul Vellek, who will lend a hand to the staff of USS Nathan James.

TNT has yet to announce the return date of "The Last Ship" season 4 but fans can expect it to arrive sometime in 2017.
