Actor Pedro Pascal will be joining "The Mentalist" in the role of FBI Special Agent Marcus Pike. And he won't just be a new FBI agent, he will also be a romantic interest for Lisbon.

Executive producer recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the change in the cast and how the show will progress for Lisbon.

"In order for her to fulfill herself -- even if she eventually fulfills herself with Jane, which she may or may not do -- she has to find other relationships, other perspectives, other people who love her, just to feel fully who she is. It's very important for her to be able to step away from Jane and see herself for herself."

Pedro Pascal, the actor who will play Agent Pike, will also be playing a new role on "Game of Thrones," HBO's hit historical fiction drama.

"Game of Thrones" showrunners David Benioff and Dan Wiess spoke about the Red Viper character during an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

"This was a tough one. The Red Viper is sexy and charming, yet believably dangerous; intensely likable, yet driven by hate. The boys love him, the girls love him, and he loves them all back. Unless your last name is Lannister. We found a fellow who can handle the job description and make it seem effortless. He wasn't easy to find and he won't be easy to stop," they said.
