'The Mysteries of Laura' Episode 2 Live Stream, Spoilers & Air Date: New NBC Series Gets Positive Viewer Reviews
As fans are raving about Debra Messing (who portrays the character of Laura Diamond) in 'The Mysteries of Laura', new spoilers for this police comedy-drama adapted from the Spanish television series 'Los Misterios de Laura', has surfaced for Episode 2 which is titled "The Mystery of the Dead Date".
Episode 2 of 'The Mysteries of Laura' Season 1 will be aired on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 8 pm on NBC.
The official synopsis for the second episode 2 reads, "When an online hook-up ends in murder, Laura creates her own dating website profile and - under Billy's watchful eye - uses herself to bait the killer. While Laura goes undercover at Manhattan's hottest night spots, Jake (Josh Lucas) finally inks the divorce papers, prompting Laura to reconsider the dating scene for real."
There is no doubt that the show, just one episode old, packs a humorous punch, and the fans have surely noticed this. As a result, there have been a lot of wonderful reviews from the fans on Facebook.
While one fan posted, "Really like this show a lot," another said, "Great show... hope it stays and doesn't cancel right away. I hate getting into good shows and then they disappear."
Another fan wrote, "Loved the show. Much better than I expected. Did not think Messing could pull off serious, but so glad she did. Just enough humor and sarcasm to make it great."
However, there were some really bad reviews regarding the children in the first episode of "The Mysteries of Laura."
According to one viewer, "The kids are a distraction. They're rude and not close to 'normal'. Who has kids that are so obnoxious? My kids are far from perfect but they wouldn't shoot gun darts at a visitor. That's not funny. The writers need to get more plots involved and less cutsy."
Yet another viewer posted, "Good show but do something different with the kids. They need their butts spanked, when my father was a cop we would never act like that. Other than that we really liked it, but I can see it get canceled when we're all into it."
One viewer was very specific after watching the premiere on Sept. 17, he or she said, "I loved Messing in this. And her partner. I can do without the man-child husband and completely off the wall bratty kids. I wanted to fast forward every time they were on my screen."
