'The Sims 4' DLC Latest News Update: Bigger City, And Less Bugs (We Hope!)

"The Sims 4" has not been widely praised because of a lot of bugs, as well as some repetitive gameplay, which probably explains the news about the new DLC that will bring your characters to a bigger city.

According to the blog post, more than anything, one of the most distinct characteristics of San Myshuno is its diversity. At any point, your character will encounter Japanese, Arab, African and Indian-as well as a host of other nationalities-as you explore the city.

"We wanted to create a colorful melting pot inspired by different cultural canvasses. We initially drew inspiration from Asian cities like Shanghai and Tokyo, but they were too intense with the lights, and felt a bit too focused on single cultural groups," the post said.

Instead, the developers considered San Francisco, Vancouver, Sydney and New York as an inspiration for the melting pot of culture, along with the distinct neighborhoods with high immigrant footprints.

Along with the bigger city, "The Sims 4" DLC news also includes new living spaces with its Apartments and Penthouses. Also, you can expect to attend more festivals considering the myriad of cultures in your own city.

There are more careers that you can choose from, as well as more social events when you interact with your friends and neighbors. "The Sims 4" DLC can be downloaded now, hopefully with less bugs this time. This is also welcome news considering that there are already rumors out there about "The Sims 5" being in production, although there's no confirmation of that yet from the developer.
