"The Voice" Recap, Top 6 Revealed, Who Was Eliminated ?
"The Voice" Tuesday Night Results, Who Was Eliminated, Who Made Top 6?
Last night, singing competition The Voice sent two musical competitors packing, narrowing down their 8 contestants to the top 6.
Caroline Pennell of Team Cee Lo Green and Ray Boudreaux of Team Blake Shelton were both sent home after their Monday night performances. Bourdreaux wasn't as lucky as Pennell and didn't receive an instant save, but even with her instant save, America decided to help another contestant ultimately sending Pennell home. Pennell performed "Dog Days Are Over," by Florence.
iTunes sales bonuses are helping season 5 contestants by multiplying an artist's vote by 5 when their single for the week enters iTunes Top 10, which is an instant save. The instant save allows American voters to save one of the bottom 3 contestants by tweeting out their support.
Matthew Schuler of Team Christina Aguilera was placed in the bottom 3 along with Pennell and Boudreaux, but with America's votes he managed to be moved into the Top 6 after performing "Gimme Some Lovin," by Spencer Davis Group.
Team Cee Lo is out of the competition and Team Adam Levine still has 3 individuals in the competition. Will Champlin received the iTunes bonus for his performance of Etta James "At Last".
