The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 6 Review: What Happened to Make the Governor Transform as a Character?

The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 6 Review: What Happened to Make the Governor Transform as a Character?

The Governor has finally snapped and is ready to embrace the inner rage that has been living inside of him this whole time. Last night's episode of "The Walking Dead" called "Live Bait" featured the Governor on his journey for redemption from all of the horrible things that he has done to the other survivors.

"Live Bait" did a good job of making the audience feel like the Governor was conflicted instead of making him out to be simply evil. The whole episode centered on the Governor and his inner conflict after he burned down Woodbury. There is an inevitable conflict coming at the prison between the Governor and the rest of the survivors. How will Rick and Daryl react when the Governor finally shows up at the prison?

So the real question so far is do fans want to see a redemption story about the Governor where he comes to terms with what he did and attempts to change? Or do they want to see him vanquished for all of the pain and suffering he has caused?

The real dilemma here is that the Governor truly wants to be a good father for his daughter and wants to change from his past, even though he may not be able to.

"Live Bait" is a transition episode through and through. Not too much happened and it wasn't full of action, but it set things up nicely for the rest of the season and it certainly ended on a tense note.
