'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Episode 8 Trailer, Spoilers: Main Character Set To Die [WATCH]
The seventh season of AMC's zombie apocalypse hit series "The Walking Dead" opened with the shocking death of two major characters. Now that its midseason premiere is coming soon, rumors are swirling around that another major character will die.
In the previous episode, Negan, the main antagonist in the series, toured Carl to the Sanctuary. In return, he then asked him to tour him around Alexandria. As the episode came to a close, viewers were surprised when Negan suddenly told Carl that he might kill him and his father, Rick. While some believe that it won't happen, spoilers for the midseason premiere episode hint that there is another impending death in the series.
The synopsis for the upcoming episode reads, "Negan's unwelcome visit to Alexandria continues as other members scavenge for supplies; things quickly spin out of control."
In a recent interview, Negan portrayer Jeffrey Dean Morgan revealed that the midseason finale would be both "creepy" and "big." The actor also revealed that Negan will have more screen time in the upcoming episode, hinting that rumors about the death of another character could be true.
There are speculations that Negan will kill another important character when the series returns, because actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan will reportedly still be part of season 8. However, other reports suggest that Negan will get killed in season 7, episode 9, as Rick finally summons the courage to take vengeance for the fallen survivors.
"The Walking Dead" season 7 airs every Sunday on AMC.
