'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Spoilers Premiere Sneak Peek: Trailer Reveals Clues About Negan's Victim

The AMC has released a new sneak peek for "The Walking Dead" season 7, and it picks up right where the final episode of season 6 left off.

It can be recalled that the season 6 finale left fans of the series wondering who Negan tortured and killed with his bat Lucille.

The trailer video reveals that as the season 7 premieres, Rick will still be alive but grieving.

In the trailer, he faces Negan with a wild look of grief and shock on his face and makes a promise. The rest of the survivors are heard crying in the background as Negan comes up to Rick. Negan says, "What? Was the joke that bad?"

"I'm going to kill you," answers Rick.

"What?" Negan says as he kneels in to face Nick. "I didn't quite catch that. You're gonna have to speak up," he adds.

"Not today, not tomorrow but I'm gonna kill you," says Rick.

Negan then introduces Simon as his right-hand. As he raises a bloody Lucille, also suggests that one of the survivors who is "still breathing" might be the right hand of Rick. Some speculate that the victim might be Abraham, considering his size and ability.

Towards the end of the video, Negan mocks Rick by asking the survivors what kind of weapon their leader has. He then confiscates the hatchet held by Rick. The final moments of the video sees Rick grabbing Rick by the jacket and dragging him across the gravel to the RV.

Some speculate that Negan will cut off Rick's hand using his own hatchet, but that remains to be seen.

"The Walking Dead" season 7 premieres on October 23 on AMC.
