BREATHEcast was invited to a 'Little Boy' teleconference that featured some of the cast of the film. Actor and executive producer Eduardo Verastegui revealed that he is hoping to arouse the virtue that children can naturally have in the hearts of everyone with this new movie. 

'Little Boy' tells the heartwarming story of a little boy who is willing to do whatever it takes to bring his dad home from World War II alive. The story reveals the indescribable love a little boy has for his father and the love a father has for his son.

"This movie is designed to wake up the little boy that we all have in our hearts, the innocence and purity that we all have," Verategui said, "some how when we grow up, [that] falls asleep."

Verastegui, who is a well accomplished actor and film maker of Mexican decent is known for his film 'Bella' but intends to make a bigger impact with 'Little Boy'. "In the world of children there's no war. So something happens that we grow up, somehow corruption and many bad things happen that we end up coming the worst enemies of ourselves," he explained.

"The world is upside down and I believe the answer is 'Little Boy'. We need to become children again," he maintained, "We need to rescue that innocence and that purity that we all have in our hearts and the capacity to love each other and help each other."

In the New York Premiere of 'Little Boy' Verastegui echoed what he said in the teleconference. The favorable actor has committed to use his giftings to help spread the message found in three biblical practices, faith, hope and love. "When we try and use our talents to do that I guarantee you that we make this world a better place. Just like 'Little Boy' does in the movie," he concluded.

Set in the '40s, 'Little Boy' is a cinematic classic that captures the wonder of life through the eyes of an 8-year-old little boy played by the infectious brand new child actor, Jacob Salvati.

Salvati explained during the teleconference that his character is given a list to help grow his faith. The list would help him believe that he can see mountains move and bring his dad back from war. He is instructed to befriend an enemy, visit the sick, clothes the naked, bury the dead etc..

"It teaches that you don't judge someone by their faith or religion [or] anything that they do," the young men stated, instead "by what they can do, what they would do, its what they do for other people, it's how they serve, not how they look."

'Little Boy' features two Oscar nominated actors (Emily Watson and Tom Wilkinson), and is directed by Smithsonian Institute Award Winning Director Alejandro Monteverde; produced by Verastegui and Leo Severino. Executive Producers include Mark Burnett (The Voice, Shark Tank, Survivor, The Bible) and Roma Downey (Touched By an Angel, The Bible).
