Tim Tebow ESPN College Football Analyst Debut on Sportscenter Today

Former NFL Quarterback Tim Tebow made his much anticipated debut on ESPN this morning.

Tebow was a college football commentator earlier today on the live Sportscenter segment at 10am Eastern. He was live in Pasadena, California, the site of tonight's BCS National championship.

At tonight's Rose Bowl, second ranked Auburn Tigers will go head to head against number one ranked Florida State University Seminoles for the prestigious prize.

On the broadcast, Tebow explained briefly how he prepared for the BCS championship game when asked by fellow University of Florida Gators Quarterback Jesse Palmer, who starred in ABC's reality dating show The Bachelor in 2004.

Tebow will continue to make appearances on various ESPN shows until he appears for SEC Nation weekly show begining in August.

Tebow is a two time National Champion and won the 2007 Heisman Trophy, an award given to the best player in college football annually, during an illustrious career as the University of Florida Gators's quarterback.

"I am so excited that ESPN has given me this incredible opportunity," said Tebow in a statement released by ESPN on December 30, 2013. "When I was six years old I fell in love with the game of football, and while I continue to pursue my dream of playing quarterback in the NFL, this is an amazing opportunity to be part of the unparalleled passion of college football and the SEC."

The former Denver Broncos and New York Jets athlete was cut by the New England Patriots during the 2013 NFL preseason and did not find a new squad during the regular season.
