Praise and worship artist Tim Timmons spoke to BreatheCast on the red carpet of the K-LOVE Fan Awards 2014 and shared on his powerful cancer testimony and new single.

"I'm such a nerd, so it makes it so humbling to be up there with all these people who have been in the industry for song, and that I have respected for so long, and I get to talk about Jesus on the stage with them. So it was pretty awesome," he said about his time at the event.

Timmons was most grateful for an evening out with his wife and just hanging out, taking in the show.

"Honestly I'm looking forward to hanging out with my wife, and she's out here. So we have four kids, and so we're just hanging out, I love being with her, and her seeing my world and being with my friends."

In terms of music, Timmons released a single from his latest album Cast My Cares, which came out last summer.

"I have a new single coming out at the end of the month called 'You Remain,' and I'm really excited about that. It's kind of part of my journey with cancer," he explained.

When pressed further about his "journey with cancer" Timmons is believing in God for a full recovery.

"I supposedly have four tumors on my liver at the moment, but Jesus is bigger than that so that's how we live," he boldly said.

The worship leader was diagnosed with cancer in 2001, and doctors told him he had fives years to live. It has been twelve since.
