TLC movie 'Crazy Sexy Cool' On VH1 Oct 21st, See Posters [PICTURES] Produced by Original Members Chili and T-Boz (VIDEO)

 

TLC, the best-selling female group of all time is coming back with a movie of their story and a new album that was inspired in the process. 

VH1 will air the "CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story" premiering Monday October 21st at 9/8c. They have  released the first two promo posters (shown above). 

The movie will star Keke Palmer (Akeela & The Bee) as Chilli, Drew Sidora (Step Up) as Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, and Lil Mama (America's Best Dance Crew) as Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez, chronicles TLC's humble beginnings in Atlanta and unprecedented rise to fame in the '90s.

Original members Chili and T-Boz will be hands on as executive producers, so fans can be sure that the story will be told correctly. TLC has sold over 65 million albums worldwide.

Today (Oct. 15) also makes the release of their greatest hits album entitled 20 fromLaFace/Epic Records. The album is titled 20 to commemorate their 20 plus years since they started. The album willfeature TLC's biggest hits (including their four No. 1 singles, "Creep," "Waterfalls," "No Scrubs," and "Unpretty"), plus a new song written by soul/pop singer Ne-Yo called "Meant To Be." 

While the movie inspired Chilli and T-Boz to go back into the studio and record, the sessions turned out so many new songs that TLC will release a full album of new music in 2014.
