Transformers 4: Age of Extinction is set to premiere in theaters worldwide in June 2014, but there is still a lot of unknowns about the film. It is the fourth installment of the big-budget Michael Bay films, and this time the cast includes stars like Nicola Peltz, Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor and Kelsey Grammer.

The plot of Transformers 4: Age of Extinction is said to take place four years after the third Transformers movie. The official synopsis has been released and reads as follows:

"A mechanic (Mark Wahlberg) and his daughter (Nicola Peltz) make a discovery that brings down Autobots and Decepticons - and a paranoid government official (Kelsey Grammer) - on them. A semi-reboot of the series will feature a new human cast and both new and retuning Transformers characters. Peter Cullen will once again voice Optimus Prime.

The movie has had its share of problems in Hong Kong during production. There have been two attempts to blackmail the cast and crew of Transformers 4: Age of Extinction by local Hong Kong residents. The first attempt was on director Michael Bay last week, who was attacked by three men who demanded $13,000 from him. They have since all been arrested.

The second attempt at blackmail was when a woman from the crew was setting up a shot on the roof of a building and was approached by four men who demanded money. So far, one of the men has been caught and the other three are being searched for.
