'True Blood' Season 7 Spoilers: 10 New Episodes Confirmed / Alexander Skarsgard, "Willa" Rejoin Cast / June 2014 Premiere

Still reeling after that epic Season 6 finale of True Blood on HBO? If you're like me you're probably wondering, "is Eric really dead?" or "how will Hep V affect Bon Temps?"

Never fear, the show has been renewed for a seventh season and 10 new episodes.

According to the showrunners, the 10 episodes will take place over the course of two weeks, following the six month time jump in the Season 6 finale.

Rumor has it, however, that Season 7 could be the show's final season. It must be an epic 14 days if the series is going to wrap up in a two-week time frame.

"
That conversation is happening, but we don't have an answer yet," True Blood executive producer Brian Buckner told TV Line. "I'm being told that I will know, which doesn't mean that I will tell everybody. But I will know when the writers resume in the room [next month] whether or not we're wrapping it up or not."

Regardless of when the series is ending, fans will be demanding a few answers when the new season rolls around.

How is Willa going to adjust to being a vampire? Now joining the cast a series regular, Willa was last seen at the inter-species party at the new Bellefleur's bareque, just before a bunch of infected vampires descend on the unsuspecting humans.

And of course, what about Eric?

"I can tell you that Alexander Skarsgard is going to be a part of the next season of 'True Blood,'" Buckner revealed. "He will be a series regular."

But how? We saw a naked Eric up in flames in the season finale. Would he return as a ghost of some sort? Or will Eric only appear in flashbacks.

Notice carefully, Buckner said Skarsgard would be returning. He never said Eric was still alive.

True Blood Season 7 is set to premiere June 2014 on HBO.
