TVOS 10 News: Latest Update Gives Lots Of Goodies For Users?

The news about the TVOS 10 receiving an update on Sept. 13 was met with rather lukewarm reception, but only because people do not fully grasp the significance of the software tweak for its fourth-generation Apple TV.

Another reason perhaps why the TVOS 10 update didn't make waves in the news was because its release was timed with the more popular iOS 10 and the watchOS 3.

CNET however ran an article listing the tips and tricks that people can look forward to with the TVOS 10 update.

First off, you can just direct Siri to search for any YouTube videos no matter what you are doing on your Apple TV. Before, there's an icon for the video-sharing website that you need to click, then go to the search engine and type the video that you want to see.

Now, you just need to press the Siri button and ask the virtual assistant to search a particular video and voila!

Another good news for the TVOS 10 update is the enhanced smart home features through the HomeKit integration. Now you can just press the Siro button on your Apple TV and then direct the voice assistant to turn on and turn off the lights, or lock the windows and door.

In related news, MacRumors reported that following the release of the TVOS 10 update, Apple is now starting to roll out the 10.0.1 version in beta form to developers. For now, there's no word on what goodies that will come with the beta versions. However, the article said that it's more likely going to address the glitches in the current version.
