'Under the Dome' CBS Season 2 Finale Live Stream, Start Time, Spoilers: Rachelle Lefevre Shares Details
CBS recently teased 'Under the Dome' fans by releasing a trailer of the Season 2 finale entitled "Go Now," which airs on Monday, Sept. 22.
In regards to the episode's description, CBS stated, "A potential exit from the Dome is revealed just as the walls begin closing in on those trapped in Chester's Mill."
Simultaneously, CBS released 10 photographs of the Season 2 finale offering further insight into the episode. The pictures show Julia, Barbie, Sam, as well as the others in the underground trying to find a way out.
"The Dome's shutting down," says Julia in the video, while Barbie adds, "If we stay here, we die."
The trailer also demonstrates Big Jim striking Sam and threatening to kill everyone if he does not get his wife back.
A report by WetPaint says that the finale should not be missed. It adds that there are a number of reasons to watch the episode and they include witnessing Melanie's fate, finding out what is up with the Zenith, and also seeing Big Jim's continued character transformation.
Meanwhile, talking to TVLine, actress Rachelle Lefevre, who portrays the character of Julia Shumway, revealed some spoilers. She disclosed that the tunnel to Zenith could be instrumental towards helping those trapped inside the dome.
"It will be involved massively. There is evidence of the possibility of escape," said Lefevre, adding, "Obviously, Barbie left, and came back. So there is evidence that it is possible. If you know you can get out, you're going to try."
Moreover, Lefevre spoke about the manner in which the egg influences Melanie and Julia, and how it works differently for the two women.
Elaborating, she said, "Melanie has all the same feelings that Julia has. She feels connected to the egg, but she can't explain it. She wants to protect it; she doesn't know why ... When bad things happen to the egg or when she (Melanie) is separated from it, her health fails, whereas my character has been shot, impaled ... stabbed in the ribcage to make a puncture-hole for air in her chest cavity. And somehow, against all physical odds, I'm ok."
Meanwhile, CBS has yet to confirm whether the show will be renewed for a third season. However, Les Moonves of CBS hinted the show has been making a tidy profit, and that it also has reportedly set up a good deal with Amazon Prime for new episodes.
