Veronica Mars Movie Trailer Released, Movie Set for Theaters on March 14 (VIDEO)
Kristen Bell returns in the new Veronica Mars film coming on March 14, 2014 as she reprises the role that launched her career over a decade ago.
Bell first played the lead role of the young detective Veronica Mars on the popular television series in 2004. The well-liked mystery series only lasted three years on the small screen.
The show debuted in 2004 on the now defunct UPN channel, and would would later end on the CW Network in 2007.
On March 13, 2013, actress Bell and the show's creator Rob Thomas announced that they would use the Kickstarter website in order to help raise money to produce the film reports ABC.
Fans of Veronica Mars took to Kickstarter immediately and funded the project financially as they reached their goal fairly quickly.
In the new movie, Veronica Mars makes the voyage back to show's original setting of Neptune, California after becoming a lawyer living in New York City, the trailer showed.
The movie trailer revealed that multiple actors along with Bell will be reprising their television role in the films including Enrico Colantoni (Veronica's father Keith Mars), Jason Dohring (Logan Echolls), and Percy Daggs III (Wallace Fennel).
The long anticipated film will air in theaters this year on March 14.
