'Vikings' Season 2 on History Channel / Premiere Date Mid-March 2014 / Rollo Kills Floki in Trailer Preview / TV Show Creator: "More Armies, More Viking Ships" [TRAILER]

Vikings was a breakout TV show this year for History Channel. With a premiere date set for mid-March 2014 fans are anxious to see what happens to Ragnar, Rollo and the rest of the Vikings cast. In the latest trailer for Season 2 it looks like fans may have to say goodbye to Floki [Gustaf Skarsgard].

In the trailer Rollo faces off with his famous brother and old comrades. In the sneak peak clip it looks like Rollo, himself delivers the final blow and kills his former ship-builder ally.

I'm sure Ragnar will exact some kind of revenge, but Floki's odds of surviving the showdown seem nonexistent.

Those of you who missed Vikings Season 1 can catch up starting Saturday, October 19, History Channel is airing a marathon of the first season's episodes.

As for Season 2, Vikings creator Michael Hirst confirmed the new episodes would have "More armies, more Viking ships." At San Diego Comic-Con 2013, Hirst compared Vikings to Americans.

"As Americans, you like to say that family comes first. The same can be said of the Vikings. Ragnar bred a lot of sons who became famous in their own turn. When he died, they finally declared war on the whole world."

When the Season 2 premiere date is confirmed, expect the storyline to pick up right where the first season ended.

SPOILERS!

Ragnar is continuing his affair with Aslaug in hopes of having more sons. The plague has killed Ragnar's daughter. Lagertha will eventually find out that Ragnar is in bed with another women.
