'Vikings' Season 4 Part 2 Spoilers: Ragnar Starts Training Ivar The Boneless To Be The Next King

Fans will get to witness a transformation in Ivar the Boneless, the son of Ragnar Lothbrok with Queen Aslaug, in the second part of "Vikings" season 4.

It has previously been reported that Ragnar will return as an old man in "Vikings" season 4, part 2, since the second part of the season will see a time jump from the events in the midseason finale. According to reports, the old Ragnar will meet his son, who is all grown-up, when the series returns.

Being Ragnar's favorite son, Ivar has always been built up as a king. When the series returns, Ragnar will return to Kategatt and will encourage his son to take the reins and be the new king. However, Ivar hates him so much so he will first try his best to win over his love before he starts training him to be the next king.

Spoilers for the new season suggest that when Ragnar returns to Kategatt after trying to take down Rollo, Ivar the Boneless will begin to transform.

Also fighting for the throne is Lagertha, who is the ex-wife of Ragnar. There are speculations that a battle between Queen Aslaug and Lagertha will take place when the season returns, although that remains to be seen.

In other "Vikings" news, it was recently confirmed that the series will be renewed for another season. Some speculate that Lagertha will no longer be part of season 5 as she will get stabbed to death in a battle that will soon take place in the current season.

"Vikings" season 4 returns Nov. 30 on History.
