'The Voice': Amber Carrington & Sasha Allen Go Home, Danielle Bradbery, Michelle Chamuel & Swon Brothers Make Top 3
"The Voice" was back tonight with the results show for the Top 5 contestants.
Two contestants will be sent home tonight and 3 will move on to next weeks semi final.
Danielle Bradbery of Team Blake seemed to win the evening last night, but with fan voting anything can happen.
Danielle Bradbery and Michelle Chamuel ended up being the first ones saved earlier in the evening, which left it to Sasha Allen, Amber Carrington and the Swon Brothers to sweat it out until the very last minute.
With two going home, host Carson Daly announced the name of the person moving on at the end instead and it was the Swon Brothers.
So in the end, Amber Carrington (Team Adam) and Sasha Allen (Team Shakira) were sent home.
This makes from now til the end of the show a two team battle between Blake Shelton, who has 2 contestants left in Danielle Bradbery and the Swon Brothers and Usher who has Michelle Chamuel.
As always on result night, there are special guest performances to fill up the evening.
Tonight, punk/rockers Fall Out Boy will be hitting the stage performing their song "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark" from its "Save Rock and Roll" album.
Also tonight performing was "The Voice" alums Terry McDermott, Nicholas David and Tony Lucca.
Terry McDermott wowed audiences last season (Season 3) with his strong rocker voice. He became known for being able to nail any of the high 80's tunes and really found his niche. McDermott made it all the way to the finale last year and ended up losing to winner Cassadee Pope.
Nicholas David also competed in last season and made it all the way to the Top 3 before being eliminated. He was known for his funky wardrobe and his funky soulful style. He also had a very unique vocal delivery and was definitely a crowd favorite.
Both McDermott and David are working on releasing their albums. Terry has released his single, "Pictures" already and Nicholas David announced after his performance that his EP became available to buy tonight.
Tune in to "The Voice" on NBC next Monday to watch the Top 3 perform!
