The Voice: Josiah Hawley & Kris Thomas Get Sent Home, See The Top 8 That Move On Here

"The Voice" had their Top 10 eliminations last night where two of the contestants would be sent home and the rest move on to the Top 8 next week.

Carson Daly asked the judges for a few words going into the night and Usher simply stated, "I'm nervous. And I'm never nervous." I am sure that all of the coaches could agree with that sentiment as they waited to see the fate of their teams.

Blake Shelton and his wife, Miranda Lambert, performed the song, "Over You" as a tribute to the people in Oklahoma dealing with the tragic tornado situation there. Shelton is a native of Oklahoma himself.

Host Carson Daly would save a few contestants through out the night but in the end it was Team Shakira's Kris Thomas and Team Usher's Josiah Hawley who went home last night.

This meant that new coaches Shakira and Usher are each down to one singer, but veterans Blake and Adam each have teams of three. So it seems that experience is prevailing so far in the competition.

Here is the rundown of the Top 8 by team.

Team Adam: Judith Hill, Sarah Simmons, Amber Carrington

Team Blake: Danielle Bradbery, Holly Tucker, Swon Brothers

Team Usher: Michelle Chamuel

Team Shakira: Sasha Allen

Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez, stars of the upcoming movie, Fast & Furious 6 was also in attendance last night.

Tune in on Monday to see the remaining eight singers take the stage (NBC, 8 ET/PT) for more live performances.
