The Voice Season 4 Finale Tonight! The Judges Performed and the Top Three Will be Trimmed Down to One.
The Voice Season 4 finale is upon us and the hype around it is bigger than ever. The finale 3 of Danielle Bradbery, The Swon Brothers (all of Team Blake), and Michelle Chamuel (of team Usher).
Last night, each of the contestants sang a new song, selected either by them or by their coaches. They then sang one of their greatest hits moments from the season, dubbed a "defining moment" from earlier in the season. They then had a group number with the top 3 and with the top 16 contestants.
One of the highlights of the night was when the 4 coaches took the stage to sing "With A Little Help From My Friends." The arrangement was a little loose and sloppy, but it was so much fun that no one really cared. It was like the moment that had been building for the entire series. It wasn't the best performance, but it was a lot of fun.
The Swon Brothers had my favorite moment of the evening, when they sang "I Can't Tell You Why" by the Eagles with coach Adam Levine. The guys did well with the song and it was a hit.
Michelle Chamuel sang two powerhouse songs with female vocals with "I Knew You Were Trouble" by Taylor Swift and "Why" by Annie Lennox. It was an overall strong vocal performance. She then had one of the high points of the evening when she dueted U2's "One" with Usher.
Danielle Bradbery showed versatility by singing Patty Loveless, Pam Tillis, and Sara Evans. The judges and the fans responded extremely well to all three performances and Bradbery looked to be the favorite tonight when the winner is announced.
We'll see who takes the title tonight, when The Voice Season 4 comes to a close. May the best men/woman win!
