The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 2 "Infected" premiered last night on AMC and proved that if the survivors want to move forward in the post-apocalyptic world, they have to face their pasts and learn to live with them. Michonne, especially, was forced to be honest with herself about her past as her character entered an important emotional arc in her storyline.

Roth Cornet from IGN.com chimed in on the latest installment of season 4 of The Walking Dead. She wrote, "One of the strengths of this season thus far has been the sense of balance. Showrunner Scott Gimple promised that each character would be given their due, and he seems to be living up to his commitment. Daryl gave Rick credit for always being there to help clean it up when the s*** hits, which served as a prompt for Rick to step back up to the plate, but the truth is that the s***'s hitting pretty hard right now, and everyone is grabbing a shovel."

The Walking Dead premiere of episode 2 of season 4 raised this question: Will Rick have to kill Lizzie? Shane Ryan and Josh Jackson from Pastemagazine.com weight in, "You're dead right about Lizzie. Her psychotic behavior is also badass in a warped way. There's not way I'd be walking out around the grounds after dark by myself, much less getting within contact range of a walker, fence or no fence. I feel like Lizzie and the Governor are going to join forces at some point."
