'The Walking Dead' Season 4 SPOILERS / Andrew Lincoln: "It is a third-world environment that we're existing in now." / Premiere October 13 on AMC [TRAILER]  

The Walking Dead Season 4 premiere is right around the corner!

What's felt like an eternity-long wait since the Season 3 finale, the popular zombie series from AMC is almost back! Andrew Lincoln, who plays gang leader Rick Grimes is dishing a few new spoilers as we await the October 13 season premiere.

Lincoln let us know in the wake of taking in the former Woodbury citizens, the larger prison gang now faces bigger problems than just zombies.

"There's around about 50 new characters, which puts obviously an enormous amount of pressure on the group with the practical necessities of food and water," Lincoln dished to Entertainment Weekly. "It is a third-world environment that we're existing in now."

"We were a band of maybe 10 characters at the end of last season, so the character relationships and the group dynamics have changed radically," Lincoln says. "There are always going to be tensions within the group ... and you find us in a place where people are trying to wrestle with those problems as well as, obviously, the pressure of the walkers and survival."

The Walking Dead Season 4 returns to AMC Thursday, October 13 at 9 PM ET.
