'The Walking Dead' Season 4 SPOILERS: 3 New Comic Characters Joining Cast / Premiere October 13 on AMC [TRAILER]

The Walking Dead Season 4 Spoilers!

We've got a little bit of Walking Dead news for you today. This just in, three new characters will be joining the cast for Season 4 of the popular zombie series on AMC.

The network just announced Twilight actress Christian Serratos will star in the new episodes as Rosita Espinosa. Serratos' character comes straight from the comic books, as do the other two additions.

For fans who aren't as familiar with the comic characters, or ponder whether the showrunners will stick to the comic storyline, some are left wondering how Rosita will make an impact on the series. Will she join the Governor? Does Rick's gang run into her on a scout mission?

According to Deadline, Serratos' Rosita will first be a reoccurring guest character throughout Season, with a possible upgrade to regular in Season 5. Details surrounding potential plot lines for Serratos are relatively unknown. One thing we do know is AMC usually strays from the comic storylines quite a bit.

Also knew to the Season 4 cast is The Wire actor Lawrence Gilliard, Jr. Gilliard will play fellow comic character Bob Stookey.

Season 3 cast members Chad Coleman, Sonequa Martin-Green, and Emily Kinney will all be promoted to Season 4 regulars. AMC also confirmed the Governor [David Morrissey] will be back. Don't be too optimistic about him staying alive for Season 5.

Oooo what if he turns into a zombie?

Tune in for The Walking Dead Season 4 premiere October 13 on AMC.
