'The Walking Dead' Season 4 SPOILERS / Rick Kicks Carol Out of the Group! Is She Gone for Good? [TRAILER]

The Walking Dead Season 4 Spoilers!

Not skipping a beat, last Sunday's episode of the popular zombie drama on AMC was as nail-biting as ever. In the wake of Carol's confession that she killed Karen and David, Rick decides to give her the boot, claiming he can't have anyone in the prison that he doesn't trust.

But is Carol gone for good?

Melissa McBride told Entertainment Weekly she has no idea, but hopes not.

"I can't say for sure one way or the other. I hope we do. I hope that's not the last of her, but you know the way this show is. I don't know. It's unpredictable. The show is unpredictable. And we always think, well, if we don't see them die on camera, there's always a possibility. And then we do see them die on camera and sometimes they still come back, so who knows?"

Though McBride would be bummed to be kicked off the biggest show on TV, she did understand the reasoning behind Rick not letting her come back.

"It's Sheriff Rick being very methodical about his decision. And, in a way, maybe protecting Carol from the consequences of her actions as far as Tyreese is concerned. He does not want to create a big divide among the group," she said.

Do you think it's fair that Rick let a woman go out on the road all by her lonesome?
