Walmart has advised consumers to plan ahead of the Black Friday 2016 so they can maximize their time and get the best deals.

Whether you visit the store or shop online, Walmart has an Early Access email program so you can get updates on Black Friday 2016 deals.

"This helps you get a jump on your holiday shopping by grabbing up some of the best values of the year," the website said.

"Before you begin your shopping, make a plan," it added. "Review the Black Friday ads and emails to see which items are available online and which are in stores. Decide what you want to order online or for pickup in a store."

An ad for the Walmart Black Friday 2016 was already released. Among the products in the promo material are the Philips 55-inch Smart Class TV, which typically retails at under $600, only at $298; or save $50 on the iPhone 5S; or the PlayStation 4 Unchartered 4 bundle at $249 plus $30 gift card.

The other products that will be included in the Black Friday 2016 deals are:

- Element 40-inch 1080p LED HDTV for $125.00

- Samsung 60-inch 4K HDTV (UN60KU6270) for $648.00

- Samsung 65-inch LED Smart HDTV (UN65J6200) for $798.00

- Samsung 4K Upscaling Blu-Ray Disc Player (BD-JM63) for $79.00

- Chromecast 2 for $25.00

- AC1750 Smart Router for $89.00

- Vizio 38.5-inch 5.1 Soundbar w/Wireless Subwoofer for $149.00

The Walmart Black Friday 2016 starts on Thursday, Nov. 24, at 6 p.m. in store. However, consumers can already purchase items that same morning.
