‘Watch Dogs 2' DLC Release Date News: Slight Delay Due To Complex Multiplayer Codes

The "Watch Dogs 2" DLC has been slightly delayed by Ubisoft because of some multiplayer patches that have yet to be completed.

The "Watch Dogs 2" version 1.06 is also known as the T-Bone Content Bundle update and it will focus on Raymond Kenney who is also known as T-Bone. The downloadable items include his outfit and the school bus, which has been modified to include a bulldozer blade for maximum damage.

The "Watch Dogs 2" DLC will also include the Mayhem co-op challenge, which now include Grenadier who use advanced weapons and military strategies, which makes him a formidable villain.

"This and previous patches were an important step towards stabilizing Watch Dogs 2's seamless multiplayer functionality, and other core online features, before releasing any new multiplayer content," according to the Ubi blog post. "Since these updates required additional development resources, we've made the decision to adjust our release schedule for that new content."

Ubisoft has announced that the "Watch Dogs 2" will be released on Dec. 22 on PS4 in the US and Dec. 26 in Japan. For Xbox One and PC players, they can get their hands on the game on Jan. 24.

Those who can't wait for the "Watch Dogs 2" DLC may participate in the T-Bone Chaos Event on Dec. 19, which will run for about a month. Each week will feature a new themed challenge that entitles winners to receive in-game currency as well as unique rewards like car skins and bags, announced Ubisoft.
