Windows Beam Latest News: Broadcast Your Gameplay As Easy As 1-2-3
The news about the changes in Windows Beam on the Windows 10 Creators update should really excite gamers everywhere.
The Windows 10 Creators update was announced recently in New York, but lost in all the changes is the Windows Beam news.
For instance, with the update, it's not as easy as ever to broadcast your gameplay on your favorite social media app, said CNET. This is possible with a small tweak by Windows, which is to integrate the game streaming platform of Beam into the Windows 10 system.
Also, when synced with Xbox Live, you can now start to track the stats and pick a winner during the custom tournaments, just like the fantasy baseball, basketball or football league. After you finish with your setup, the new program will then track all data and manages the rankings.
It must be remembered that Windows completed the acquisition of the Seattle-based company in August this year. The technology will bring gameplay to whole another level since spectators won't simply have to passively participate, but rather make suggestions through visual controls.
During the announcement of the Windows Beam news, Jenn McCoy of Microsoft showed a demo of how players can manipulate the commands to make suggestion to the players during the live stream, TechCrunch reported.
Another change is the Bitstream support for Blu-ray games, which means Dolby Atmos is now enabled.
However, the bad news is that you have to wait some more since Windows Beam on the Windows 10 Creators update won't be available until next year.
