World War Z Set to Release in 3 Days! Brad Pitt Promises that the Movie Will Be "The Most Intense Movie You'll See This Summer"

World War Z reaches the end of its production road and begins its release road this Friday, June 21st.

In previous interviews, star Brad Pitt promised that the film would be "the most intense movie that you'll see all summer." From everything that we've heard about the movie and from the details of the book, it looks like he might be able to deliver on that promise.

In the film, Pitt plays a retired U.N. employee who is forced to leave behind his wife and child to try and stop a global zombie epidemic. He switches in to full protector-mode in the film, a feeling that he is familiar with, being a father in real life. "Always, I mean, always. It's a papa bear - it's just instinctual," Pitt said. "It kicks in. It's kind of amazing how that happens, but comforting."

He get protective, but he did find time away from his family to work on World War Z, which has been a pet project of sorts for the actor/producer. He says that the process may have been long, but it's been worth it in the long run.

"It's just big and fun, and this is the most intense thing you're going to see all year. It's the most intense thing I've done. We're really thrilled by it."

Bold words from Pitt. From everything that we've heard, it looks to deliver when it comes out this Friday.
