'World War Z' Trailer / Brad Pitt: "The Most Intense Thing I've Ever Done / In Theaters June 21 [TRAILER]

We've all seen the trailers for this year's summer blockbuster smash, World War Z. Now fans just have to wait a few more days to see Brad Pitt fighting off hordes of zombies. When World War Z hits theaters June 21st, fans can expect to see the "most intense thing" Brad Pitt has ever done.

"It's just big and fun, and this is the most intense thing you're going to see all year," he promised. "It's the most intense thing I've done. We're really thrilled by it."

Brad and Angelina's oldest son, Maddox, 11, even got in on the action playing a zombie in World War Z.

"My oldest boy's in it. He's got a cameo in it. He gets shot in the head. I don't know what that says about me as a parent. ... He gets shot multiple times, to be fair. He gets double-tapped."

Side note: Maddox did have to shave his mohawk before landing the role.

With all the positive hype World War Z has been receiving, there's still been some negative attention. World War Z director promises his take on the popular Max Brooks book will be a lot less predictable than some may think.

"I'm relieved that the movie's coming out and I really hope that a ton of people will enjoy it and will go and see it," Forster told THR. "The ending, it's much more reflective and quieter, and the original was ... this massive battle and it just felt a little tired and repetitive. ... A lot of other blockbusters try to make the last 15-20 minutes bigger and louder, whatever they can do, and I thought, 'Let's go opposite.'"

World War Z stars Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, and James Badge Dale and hits theaters Friday, June 21st.
