Elton John, Katy Perry, and One Direction Perform on "X Factor U.K." Season 3 Finale 2013
The singing competition The X Factor is already preparing its musical guest lineup for its season finale. Led by Elton John, Katy Perry and British boy band One Direction are set make appearances on the finale, which will be held at London's Wembley Arena.
X Factor U.K. judge Gary Barlow will perform a duet with Elton John despite his past criticisms of the show calling its contestants "products" and later saying The Voice produces "non-entities." The two will be debuting Barlow's "Face to Face," which is from his new album and "Since I Saw You Last."
Katy Perry will perform her new single "Unconditionally," and One Direction will be performing their song "Midnight Memories." The Killers will play a series of melodies from their hits and Tim Odell will take the stage to kick off the two-day finale.
Ratings for the show have been pretty steady; drawing in millions of viewers each week in the tenth season despite competition from BBC's dancing competition, Strictly Come Dancing.
The X Factor recently voted off Tamera Foster leaving 4 semi-finalists; Nicholas McDonald, Rough Copy, Luke Friend, and Sam Bailey. The X Factor season finale is set to take place December 14 and 15. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
