Microsoft has recently released the October list for Xbox Games with Gold, which allows gamers to download games each month for free, if they have a subscription. However, Microsoft's list this some around has a few gamers disappointed.

While the new Xbox One game for October is 'Chariot', fans are happy that they will be able to play it all month. However, 'Chariot' is accompanied by another game 'Crimson Dragon', which will be available to Xbox One users for the third time in a row.

In addition, Microsoft has announced the release of 'Battlefield: Bad Company 2' and 'Darksiders II' for Xbox 360. While 'Battlefield' will be available through Oct. 15, 'Darksiders II' will be available from Oct. 16 through October 31.

Meanwhile, the Deals With Gold list has been released for this week, and it features 'Dark Souls' and 'Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes'. The latter will be available for both Xbox 360 and Xbox One for 50 percent off the usual price.

A report in the official Xbox blog describes 'Chariot' as follows:

'Crimson Dragon' remains on the list of free games for Xbox One Games With Gold for October for the third month in a row. 'Crimson Dragon' is a fantasy rail shooter game (imagine a shooting game that you have may have ever played in the arcade). The game has been described in the official Xbox Wire as below:

"Available Aug. 1-31, Crimson Dragon, originally an Xbox One launch title, and acts as a spiritual successor to the much-beloved Panzer Dragoon saga. It's a fast-paced rail shooter set in a beautiful fantasy world, where you can join with up to three other players for online co-op battles. You have half-dozen majestic draconian steeds to choose from, and they level up as you progress through the game's epic story. Crimson Dragon also features a killer soundtrack, courtesy of Panzer Dragoon composer Saori Kobayashi."
