Xbox One Holiday Update News, Details: More Changes To Make Xbox Live Social

The Xbox One holiday update include some changes to the Clubs, Achievement Rarity, Looking for Group and Group Messaging on Xbox One and Xbox app on iOS, Windows 10 and Android devices. Read up on the full details below.

Scott Henson, Xbox Partner Group program manager, wrote in a blog post, that you can find the new features under the Preview alongside Arena on the Xbox Live. The Arena in Preview can be seen through the Christmas holidays in preparation for an even wider launch.

He said that with the Xbox One holiday update, "Xbox Live becomes even more social as we unite gamers across devices, giving you access to more people to play with that share your interests and more choice in how you play."

Clubs on Xbox Live - People can meet other like-minded individuals through these clubs. You can either create or join clubs then share content, set up meeting or chat with the other members. Search for Clubs in the Community section on Xbox One.

Looking For Group - This feature immediately connects you to friends or people you want to play a game with. It's supposedly like Craigslist of Xbox Live community. You can also create a group together to defeat the DeeBees and Swarm in "Gears of War 4." You can also create your own LFG if you want to set up a game day in the near future.

Group Messaging on Xbox Live - Works just like group chat. You don't have to message every single friend you have. In fact, Xbox also included a predictive dictionary to help people type even faster.

Achievement Rarity - This feature explains just how much an Achievement means among players in a title. You get a notification with a distinct diamond icon when you get a rare Achievement.
