Xbox One Release at Midnight Tonight: Tips for a Midnight Release

Tonight is the big night for gamers who are looking to get their hands on the brand new Microsoft Xbox One after almost 10 years without an Xbox release. The Xbox One is the third console in a series of three consoles, following the Xbox and the Xbox 360. At 12 AM tonight, customers will be able to pick up their pre-ordered Xbox Ones at Gamestop, Best Buy, Walmart or Target, or you may be able to walk in and grab one off the shelf if you get there early enough. The PS4 recently sold over 1 million consoles in the first 24 hours of availability. Can the Xbox One do better?

Here are a few tips to follow when you go to one of these stores for the midnight release:

Get there early! Even if you have a preordered console, there will still be extremely long lines.

If you don't have a preorder, you had better get your hands on an Xbox One today because they are going to be completely sold out until after Christmas. They won't even have any manufactured until January 1^st.

There are tons of Xbox One games to choose from and even though not everyone in line will get the Xbox One, don't worry about the games because there are plenty to go around.
