Zac Efron 'Parkland' Official Trailer & Release Date 2013, JFK Assassination Movie Also Co-Starring Billy Bob Thorton & Marcia Gay Harden, Watch Here (VIDEO) 

Parkland, the up-coming drama movie starring Zac Efton and Billy Bob Thorton has released a new trailer for the upcoming film. 

The movie covers the JFK assassination in Dallas,TX from 1963. Zac Efron plays an E.R. doctor at Parkland Hospital where John F. Kennedy is taken after he is shot in the convertible that he was riding in. 

This year marks the 50th anniversary of President JFK's assassination which could give this movie some extra publicity which could bode well in the box office. The American public always has a fascination with these type of stories, so if the movie is put together well, it should have a good chance to strong success at the box office. JFK was one of the most popular presidents in the last half century. 

The upcoming film is based off of the book Four Days in November by author Vincent Bugliosi and is being directed by Tom Hanks. 

Parkland also stars Billy Bob Thorton, Marcia Gay Harden, James Badge Dale, Jacki Weaver, Ron LIvingston, David Harbour and Paul Giamatti. 

Parkland will be shown at the Venice Film Festival (which opens Aug 28th) and the movie is set to release to theaters in the U.S. on Sept. 20th.
